Affordable Fitness Series: The Hoodie Sports Bra

Currently loving this hoodie sports bra that I got on Ebay for $7.07 (free shipping).

Not only is the hoodie a cute and interesting detail, but it's lightweight enough as to not feel bulky or hot. The hoodie portion is made of a mesh material and is completely breathable.

This isn't the kind of hoodie to protect you from the elements. It's just a nice fashionable detail.

I saw the hoodie sports bra on a fitness trainer working out with Jillian Michaels in one of her DVDs. I literally stopped working out to make sure I was seeing what I saw...a hoodie attached to a sports bra. It looked so bad ass. After my workout was complete, I hopped online to search for one and gauge the price range.

They range from the price above to around $15. Some brands offer them for up to $50.

Note: The hoodie I received was pictured on the site with a drawstring. The string did not arrive with my item, however I'm fine with that. It would only get in the way when I'm moving around and slap me in the face. It serves no function unless you actually plan to wear the hoodie. I do not. Some versions of this style are made without the drawstring detail.

Needless to say, I will be purchasing more of these in various colors. Whereas sports bras with cute or fun cutout details in the back make me feel sexy, the hoodie detail made me feel FIERCE!

Workout leggings: Dd;s discount store, $6.99

Sneakers: Nike Free TR 6 Womens; $69.40 on Amazon (originally purchased my pair from Nike.com for about the same price)
